But I think the relationship between Sam and the Guv is also fascinating.</p> <p>We entered in Season 1 into an established, easy MIU chemistry. Ronnie and Matt and Natalie had figure out what worked. And a lot of the conflict, the interesting drama in Series 6 is Ronnie and Natalie figuring out whether Sam is a good copper (yes) and how things work with him (harder.) She obviously trusts the folks she’s talked to from his previous shop. But again and again, we have the question of Sam’s temper. Matt had a temper, but his young ‘tearaway’ days were further behind him than Sam’s were.</p> <p>And while Ronnie is his partner, it’s Natalie who really has to deal with the fallout.
